About Us

A pet cremation service built by people who had already spent their careers in memorial care

OUR STORY

Lone Star Pet Services was established by a group of animal enthusiasts who share a passion for their pets.

Why we started

Combining our love for pets with extensive death care business expertise, we founded a superior pet cremation service that focuses on providing pet families, and the pet, with quality compassionate service.

Bringing all our industry experience together, we understand that pet parents grieve in their own ways, and we want to be there for you during this time. Our team of caring professionals will guide you each step of the way, before or after the death of a pet.

Where we come from

Three kinds of experience, pointed at one job

Lone Star was founded by a group of friends who put their love of animals together with careers already spent in death care. Each partner brought something different.

Since 2000

Memorial makers

Industry experts who have been actively involved in the memorial industry since 2000, where they primarily created memorials for humans. They found great joy in designing memorials for their clients' beloved pets.

Funeral service

Funeral homes and crematories

Two partners expanded into working with funeral homes and crematories on the human side. They quickly identified a gap in the Dallas and Fort Worth area for exceptional quality pet cremation that prioritises the family.

Veterinary

Inside the veterinary world

Other partners bring a wealth of experience in funeral service and extensive knowledge of the veterinary industry, from years in medical sales and collaborating with veterinarians.

What that means when you call

Our dedicated transfer teams will bring your pet into our care from your local veterinarian or from your home, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

We offer flexible arrangements to discuss your service options, including meeting at your home, in person at our office, over the phone, or online.

We consider it an honour to help pet families with memorial ideas to remember their pet. From a paw print to engraved garden stones or a photo slide show, we are here to guide you throughout the entire process.

As we have also experienced the heartache of losing a pet, we will treat you and your pet as we would want to be treated.
